WHAT IS TEA TREE OIL?

Tea Tree Oil is a volatile essential oil, extracted from the leaves of narrow-leaved paperbark tree which is commonly known as Tea Tree. It is a small tree which is native to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. The scientific name of Tea Tree Oil is Melaleuca alternifolia. It has got a distinctive odour similar to camphor and it may be pale yellow to colourless in appearance.
