Natural Remedies For Sparkling Eyes

You should be very cautious while applying anything around your eyes like the eyes and under-eye area are the most sensitive parts of your body. Whenever you are using anything new around your eyes, do a patch test and check for any irritation on the skin. However, these home remedies use ingredients which are natural, mild and gentle on your delicate skin. These natural remedies will help to eliminate puffiness under your eyes, dark circles, roughness and wrinkles under your eyes making them look bright and healthy.

1. Tea Bags

Using tea bags is an excellent remedy for dark and tired eyes. Green tea bags help to remove dark circles under your eyes as they are rich in antioxidants which help to fight free radicals responsible for causing skin damage. Green tea is high in bioflavonoids that relax your tired eyes and help to smooth out the area under your eyes.

Place the green tea bags in the freezer. Take it out from the freezer 5-10 minutes before you want to use. Place the tea bags over your eyes. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with clear water.

2. Cucumber

Take a cup of chilled raw milk and soak a few cotton balls in it. Find a place to relax and put these cotton balls on your eyes. Close your eyes and relax for some time. Wash off with cold water after some time.

4. Strawberries 

Strawberries are tasty fruits that are not only good for your health but are equally beneficial in treating your tired and puffy eyes. It is loaded with antioxidants, thus known for its anti-ageing properties. This is because of the high content of alpha-hydroxy acids in strawberries, which lightens the darkness under your eyes without irritating the skin. Take few frozen strawberries, remove its top and cut into thin slices. Place these slices on your eyes and let it rest for 15 minutes. Wash off with clear water and moisturize your face as usual.

Place the potatoes in the fridge overnight. Cut it into thin slices and place it on your eyes. Close your eyes and relax for some time. If required you can change the slices and let them rest for some more time.

6. Rose Water
